Research activities in the Psychiatric Clinic are organized in several directions:
- Genetics in psychiatry
- Psychiatric sexology (computer phalopletysmography, vulvopletysmography)
- Questions of affective disorders: biochemical hypothesis of affective psychoses, pharmacotherapy, prophylaxis (lithium therapy, partnership with the IGSLI group), mechanisms of impacts of antidepressants and problems of their cardio toxicity, pharmacological resistance)
- Problems of eating disorders
- Center for neuropsychiatric research of traumatic stress
- Aphrenia (Alzheimer disease mainly )
- Adolescentology
- Addictive disorders
